Five Reasons to Order Valentine’s Flowers Now

Time to order Valentine’s flowers.

I can hear it now, “Whoa, wait, it’s only the middle of January, don’t rush the year.” I get it, hear me out.

There are several great reasons to get your order in early. Having delivered flowers for several years, there are some things I learned about ordering for Valentine’s.

Here are my top five reasons to order Valentine’s flowers now.

1) It gives you time to find a local florist, and order directly from a local business. When you go through a clearinghouse, they charge the small business for your order. Most florists have a web page now. Order local and you help a small business more than ordering through  link.

2) First in, first out. The early orders get processed first. The florist takes an educated guess at how many roses to order. If you want something special, get that order in early.

3) Look now, know how much flowers are going to cost, plan for it. Get the order in by the first of February. If you want a dozen roses delivered it is not going to be inexpensive. By dealing directly with a local florist, they can set you up with a beautiful arraignment, in your budget. Love doesn’t mean going broke.

4) Procrastination gets so many people. Get it done now, you’re covered.

5) If you ask now what their favorite flower is, or if they like cut flowers or plants better, they won’t be suspicious of you planning for Valentine’s.

If sending flowers is important to you, or receiving flowers is important to the one you love, take time now to make it the experience and memory you want it to be.

And, again, please take the time to work directly with a local florist for the best results. Keeping more of your money local helps everybody.
